Site Issue: Small Loads Can Still Protect the Site’s Highest-Risk Functions

Identify disinfection lanes, access control, surveillance, alarms, wastewater pumps and control panels separately so large fans, pumps or refrigeration starts do not remove their supply.

When access, disinfection and personnel or vehicle records are lost, the biosecurity boundary becomes difficult to maintain. Loss of lift pumps, aeration, dosing or control panels can create environmental exposure. If surveillance, communications and remote platforms go offline, site exceptions may not be reported in time.
