Why This Design: Prioritize Cold Storage and Restore Kitchen Loads in Sequence
Cold-chain loads usually receive priority because temperature excursions cause direct losses. Cooking equipment depends on the timing of the outage and operating strategy; it does not all need to enter the immediate backup tier at once.
The design should cover refrigeration starting demand, kitchen-exhaust interlocks, tank runtime, fuel-level alarms and the refueling route. Large and conference hotels also need focused inspections before peak season and major events so one outage does not disrupt the entire program.
