Confirm packaged dimensions, weight, center of gravity, lifting points, route, crane, access and storage before generator dispatch.

Manufacturing completion does not mean the set can reach its foundation safely. Dimensions, weight, center of gravity, roads, doors, floors, crane position and weather can each damage equipment or delay the project.

Complete the transport and lift plan from final drawings and package data before dispatch. Qualified contractors must verify lifting equipment, rigging and site bearing capacity. Do not decide lifting points after arrival.

Shipping and operating weight can differ

Packaging, fluids, tanks, silencers, accessories and removed modules must be listed for the actual transport state.

Lifting points apply only to approved methods

Base holes, top lugs, enclosure points and forklift pockets have different limits; incorrect loading can twist the base.

The entire route needs clearance and bearing checks

Ports, roads, bridges, slopes, turns, doors, roof openings and foundations can all limit delivery.

  • Arrival inspection, damage records and storage maintenance

Supplier, carrier, lifting contractor and site must use the same approved revision.

  • Photograph packaging and accessories before dispatch
  • Check vehicle restraint and permits
  • Inspect rigging certificates, points and trial lift
  • Inspect base, enclosure, radiator and terminals after placement
  • Record impact, water entry, deformation and missing parts

Calculate from worst lift radius and real ground capacity, not nominal crane tonnage.

If split delivery is needed, contract reassembly, commissioning and responsibility clearly.
