It should define who makes the first diagnosis, how quickly support responds, when personnel are dispatched, how parts are supplied, whether urgent response is available and what an on-site visit covers. Agreeing on this in advance reduces coordination and uncertainty during an outage.

These Conditions Require On-Site Inspection, Not Remote Observation Alone
- The fault already affects critical loads, or remote diagnosis cannot rule out electrical, mechanical or safety risks.
- The work involves an ATS, low-voltage switchgear, breakers, safe isolation, load testing or on-site parameter adjustments.
- The same issue keeps returning and requires an on-site root-cause investigation and corrective recommendations.

Preventive Checks
- Record response times, service scope, spare-parts support and urgent-response rules before purchase.
- At handover, create records for equipment, contacts, site access, outage windows and critical loads.
- After each fault, review the response to improve alarm handling, dispatch and parts preparation for the next event.
Maintenance Routine
- After an alarm, use the impact level to choose remote support, a scheduled visit or urgent dispatch.
- Before the visit, confirm the inspection objective, operating authority, outage window and parts that may be required.
- After service, record the actual response time, reasons for delay, work completed and follow-up preventive actions.
Engineering Recommendation
Clear after-sales response rules are more valuable than a generic promise of support. Defining response time and scope before purchase makes recovery speed, service cost and site coordination more controllable.
